However Khan being busy with numerous film projects till 2016 and a television reality show, has turned down the offer.

Post that the director had to search for an actor with a huge fan following and who is as popular as Salman. Now it's learnt that Ranveer Singh is signed for it. The actor loved the script and immediately gave a nod for it.

Currently he is shooting for Sanjay Leela Bhansali's 'Bajirao Mastani', while Anand is busy with 'Tanu Weds Manu 2'.
