Bollywood's Dabangg star Salman Khan is a treat for his fans on the occasion of Eid from the last couple of years. But this year he started the year with a bang as his film 'Jai Ho' released on the eve of Republic Day. His next film this year will be filmmaker Sajid Nadiadwala's 'Kick'.
But the year 2015 will be a special treat for Salman Khan fans as he will not be seen once or twice but thrice on the big screen. There are three Salman Khan films which are slated to release next year.
To start with, he will keep his Eid Holiday weekend with Kabir Khan's yet-untitled film. Sooraj Barjatya's 'Prem Ratan Dhan Payo' which goes on floors in June is also expected to release in the same year followed by filmmaker Anees Bazmee's 'No Entry Mein Entry' that might release by the end of 2015.
Though three Salman Khan films will be a treat for his fans, trade experts fear that too many films give a lot of exposure to an actor and this, they believe is not good for a superstar.
According to them, the novelty factor that superstars enjoy is that people wait for their films and hence the big business follows the release of their mega films. But when many films of the same star are released in the same year, the novelty factor is lost and the audience interest reduces which might affect the business.
Nonetheless, when it comes to Salman Khan, the interest in audiences refuses to die and we hope the 'over exposure' through films doesn't cut the novelty factor, but only adds to his glory.
