(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Sarah Michelle Gellar has warned men that just because women are texting, it doesn't mean they're not listening.
The actress made her name fighting monsters and ghouls in Buffy the Vampire Slayer. She's soon hitting screens again in Ringer, about a woman who adopts the identity of her twin sister in order to get out of a jam.
Sarah portrays both the sisters, and also has a busy home life as she has daughter Charlotte Grace with her husband Freddie Prinze, Jr. The baby was born in September 2009, but Sarah insists her hectic schedule is easier to manage than many think.
"Don't forget, I'm playing two characters and I'm the executive producer!" she laughed. "You men think if we are texting on our BlackBerrys, we can't hear you. But we can."
Sarah can't wait to see how Ringer is received by fans and is confident it'll be a hit. The 34-year-old felt she was ready to return to work on the small screen and knows it was the right move for her.
"Buffy was all-encompassing; it was my life and you really need to take a break from that. But then I realised I missed the familial atmosphere," she told Extra.
"And now having a small child, I have the best of both worlds." (C) Cover Media
