SC reserves order on Salman's case

5th November 2014

Salman Khan can heave a sigh of relief for some time now. Supreme Court has reserved its order on the Rajasthan government's appeal challenging a state high court order staying his conviction so that he could travel to Britain for a film engagement.

Justice S.J. Mukhopadhyay and Justice A.K. Goel reserved their order, saying that Salman's conviction could not be stayed merely because it comes in the way of his getting a British visa.

Along with Salman, Sonali Bendre, Tabu, Neelam and Soha Ali Khan were accused of hunting blackbucks while shooting for the flick 'Hum Saath Saath Hain' in 1999.
