December 13, 2010 (Sampurn Wire):South Indian actor Shaam may have been known for the romantic roles that he has so far portrayed on screen in his career spanning ten years. But it now seems that the chocolate hero of the South Indian film industry has shifted his attention to action. Starting from Agam Puram which has just hit theaters, there are a number of films lined up for a 2011 release which will see Shaam donning the action cap. Well, his fans back home are also waiting in anticipation to see a different Shaam on the South Indian screen.

As of now, Shaam prefers to talk about only Agam Puram, the film on which he has a lot of hopes, since he is also a producer of the recently released Tamil flick. Barely able to hide his excitement, Shaam speaks about his movie like it was his first! Stressing on the fact that Agam Puram is an action film and he has engaged in serious action from the start to the end of the film, Shaam says that his last release also has all the emotions that go in the making of a successful commercial cinema in India.

In fact, Shaam was so involved with the action flick that he decided to become the producer of Agam Puram halfway through the making of the film. In a statement to the media, Shaam says that it was the commitment shown by his director Tirumalai in the project that inspired him to be a part of its production team.
