Shah Rukh Khan has always been in the news for being a chain-smoker. However he soon plans to mend his ways and get quit smoking.

Before the release of ‘Ra.One’  the King Khan of Bollywood  had once stated that he will yet again attempt to leave smoking as it was his daughter Suhana’s wish that he leaves that habit. That promise remained unfulfilled and SRK is once again determined to quit smoking.

He says ,“I know this (smoking) is a bad habit, but the habit doesn't leave me. I am trying hard. Even if someone tells me or not, I know about the ill-effects of smoking!!! I will try and give it up on my own. I know it is not a good thing.” He further stated, “People ask me every day to quit smoking. It makes me feel guilty, so I have actually cut down on my smoking”. However now he has yet again made a promise that after the release of his upcoming film, he will quit smoking “After 'Don 2' releases I plan to start working out and getting into a healthier regime. I would like to say that smoking is a bad habit and one must not do it,” he said.
