Tarun Tejpal's case is making headlines with every passing day. The former founder of Tehelka is accused of sexually assaulting a colleague.
Shah Rukh Khan recently attended a conclave at the capital and took a dig on him.
According to a leading daily, SRK was at his wittiest best and in a fun way flirted with the host when asked to say some of his famous dialogues.
He further quipped that he would love to romance her somewhere outside the venue, but definitely not in a lift. SRK then paused and said, "No...no you are a journalist, not in a lift."
As some members of the audience broke into laughter, he went a step further and said, "Adnan Sami's Lift Kara De song now has a new meaning."
Apparently, Tejpal also assaulted his colleague in an elevator.
SRK is known for entertaining a live audience with his tongue-in-cheek humour, but with this we think he went a little overboard.
