Even before he finishes his most ambitious project 'Paani' starring Sushant Singh Rajput produced by Yash Raj Films, Shekhar Kapur has already announced his next project titled as Tiger's Curse.

Based on a series of bestselling novels by Colleen Houck, the film will be produced by Lotus Entertainment. It's a tale about a girl who, while working at a circus, encounters a white tiger named Ren whose true identity is a prince under a 300-year curse.

Kapur says, "Colleen Houck has created a brilliant story of a young girl's journey through amazing adventures in the discovery of herself; of who she really is. Yes there are tigers, amazing backdrops, heart stopping action and of course love. But at its center is an enthralling exploration of a young American teenager's heart. Her desires. Her fears. Her mission and how she wins. I am super excited to direct this film."

Kapur had given India its first super hero Mr. India starring Anil Kapoor in 1987.
