(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Shia LaBeouf says his girlfriend Carey Mulligan is radiant and he felt an instant connection when they were first introduced.

Shia and Carey began dating after they met on the set of new movie Wall Street 2: Money Never Sleeps last year. Although they prefer to keep their romance out of the spotlight, the pair have been seen enjoying intimate dates and kissing and cuddling in public.

The 24-year-old Hollywood actor was smitten with Carey from the moment he saw her and cant help gushing about her impressive acting skills.

"I enjoyed every minute. We had chemistry immediately, Shia said in an interview to promote the Wall Street sequel. She's really, really gifted. I like the way she carries herself - she's radiant."

Oliver Stone directed Shia and Carey in the movie and he could see they had formed a bond straight away. He insists he encouraged their romance to develop away from the movie set and he thinks they make a great couple.

It's all thanks to me, Oliver revealed. You could see their chemistry right away, and it was pretty powerful."

Carey has previously refused to discuss her relationship with Shia. The 25-year-old British actress prefers to keep some things private, claiming her relationship means too much to her to let others gossip about it.

Thats kind of difficult to talk about, she said, when asked about Shia. I think love is very important, I dont think it should be trivialised. Plus, I dont want to give away my secrets. (C) Cover Media
