Shraddha finalised for Akshay's Gabbar

The actress raced ahead of names like
Shruti Haasan,
Amala Paul and
Tamannaah Bhatia. Apparently, it was producer Bhansali who loved her work in her romantic saga and was keen on signing her.
The film is a remake of 2002 Tamil hit 'Ramana' and is about a college professor who fights corruption with the help of his students. No brownie points for guessing that Akshay, the professor will romance his student Shraddha in the film.
'Gabbar' also dismisses the rumour that Shraddha isn't keen on working with older actors.
