Though he was popular in Kollywood already, Siddharth became a hot property there only after the success of Kadhalil Sodhappuvadhu Eppadi, the Tamil version of Love Failure.

This has now propelled a distributor to dub his recent Telugu film Oh My Friend in Tamil. The Kollywood version has been titled Sridhar and dubbing works are currently underway.

Besides Siddharth, the hero of the film, its heroines Shruti Haasan and Hansika Motwani are too popular in Tamil Nadu. All these factors are expected to pull crowds to cinema halls screening Sridhar.

In the meantime, Siddharth is gearing up to start the Hindi remake of Love Failure. Besides playing the lead role, he will be producing it as well.
