Siddharth's 'Midnight Children' off to Toronto

'Midnight's Children', a book written by Salman Rushdie will soon be turned into a film, and the best part is that this movie will be screened at the 37th Toronto International Film Festival.

The film stars Siddharth and Shriya Saran, as well as a few other famous actors and actresses.

The story talks about India's transition from British colonialism to Independence and the partition of our country.

Well besides the above, another one picked for a snippet will be 'English-Vinglish'. Yes the movie starring Sridevi, plays an Indian living abroad, who struggles to speak the English language.

The festival will be held between 6th September to 16th September, 2012.

It's an honour to see our Indian films doing so well and making a mark across the world.
