Snooki's Jersey Shore co-star Vinny Guadagnino says that she will be a "great mom."

The 24-year-old reality star recently announced that she is expecting her first child with fianc Jionni LaValle.

And although the starlet, real name Nicole Polizzi, is known for her partying and heavy drinking ways, Vinny is convinced she will turn her life around to be a good mother to her baby.

"She'll be a great mom," Vinny told People. "She's already drastically changed her life. "I think this is a good wakeup call, so I think she'll be cool."

Vinny revealed that he was shocked when he heard the news of the pregnancy and did not believe it at first.

"I had no idea," he maintained. "Actually people would call me, like, Is the show gonna work?' And I was like, What are you talking about, she's not pregnant.' And then all of a sudden, the whole thing came out and I was like, Oh my God."

Vinny added that as the show gets ready to film its sixth season, he is not concerned about the future of their franchise, even with Mike "The Situation" Sorrentino, currently in rehab for prescription medication issues.

"I don't know if they're going to be there or not," he shared. "I have a great feeling they're gonna be there and nothing's going to change."

Vinny added that he's not sure how Mike is coping with rehab as they "don't really speak in general" but said that he "wished him well."
