Sofia Vergara didn't expect her Happy Feet Two character to be so "voluptuous".
The Columbian actress voices the character of sexy penguin Carmen in the animation - a follow-up to the 2006 movie.
A star-studded cast were also involved with the project, among them Brad Pitt, Matt Damon, Robin Williams and Pink.
Sofia was thrilled to be part of such a fun film.
"I was surprised when I saw it. I couldn't believe they were going to make me voluptuous and everything. It was fantastic and I had a great time doing it," she told a UK TV show.
"I had a very small part in the movie but it was amazing for me because I was able to travel to Australia where the director was recording with the other actors."
Sofia is famed for playing Gloria Delgado-Pritchett on the critically acclaimed TV series Modern Family. The 39-year-old finds it easy to identify with the fiery character.
"She's Latin, she's crazy, she's very passionate but she's a lot of fun," she smiled.
"I'm Latin so I can't help it, I've been like this all my life. But I love that I was able to get a part where I can embrace all of that, my accent, my culture I can dress like a Latin woman, I can show off a little bit and dress in sexy outfits which is fun for me because it's like playing myself. Even with the things I am sometimes afraid to do, like with Gloria I can go over the top and enjoy it and nothing happens."
