Salman Khan helped Sonakshi Sinha make a smashing debut in the movie 'Dabangg' and now he is helping her with painting tips too.

In her upcoming film 'Lootera', Sonakshi plays the role of a painter and writer and she is seen doing a lot of painting in a few scenes in the movie. And to show the audiences that she has put in a lot of hardwork to get into the skin of her character, Sonakshi plans to paint live in front of the media at the launch of the song 'Sawaar Loon' (watch video) from the movie.

As everyone knows that Salman is an avid painter, Sonakshi couldn't think of anyone better than him to take painting tips from.

Though the actress has been trained in the art when in college, she wanted to make sure that she is perfect in front of the media and hence she approached Salman.

When Vikramaditya Motwane, director of 'Lootera' was asked about her performance in the film, he said, "Sonakshi's character loves painting. In the film, there are quite a few scenes where she is shown painting. Her being trained in the art was of great help as she understands the body language, posture etc. better than someone who hasn't learnt painting professionally."
