Sonakshi: "The break was not intentional"

25th May 2012

After making a thrilling debut opposite Salman Khan in 'Dabangg' (2010), Sonkashi Sinha became the hottest property of tinsel town. Her career got off to a flying start and she was showered with umpteen offers from all the sides.

Post the super success of 'Dabangg' and after collecting all the best debutant awards, the actress signed films with some of the biggest stars of the industry.

However, despite of signing the films, she remained out of the limelight as none of her film's released in the year 2011.

Now that she is coming out and promoting her second release 'Rowdy Rathore', she, in one of her recent interviews exclaimed that she has no regrets for being off screen for over a year. "I have no complaints that I was not seen on screen for one-and-half years as I was busy shooting for all the films that I signed, doing advertisements and shows. So I have been working non-stop. Work wise it has been a good year-and-half for me," said Sonakshi who is excited for the release of 'Rowdy Rathore'.

She revealed that the break could've been extended if not for Rowdy's early release, "The break was not intentional. I don't think anything that I do is intentional. It is just a coincidence as some films got delayed due to some or the other reasons, in fact, Rowdy Rathore is releasing early," added Sonkashi.

Her second release Rowdy Rathore opposite Akshay Kumar will be releasing on June 1.
