The chirpy actress, Sonam Kapoor has commenced her shoot for the biopic based on Indian flight attendant, Neerja Bhanot.

Neerja Bhanot was murdered, while saving passengers from terrorist on board, who hijacked the flight Pan Am Flight 73 on September 5, 1986 and posthumously.

Neerja became the youngest and first woman recipient of the prestigious Ashok Chakra Award at the age of 23.
