There was a rift between the Kapoors and the Shettys when Anil Kapoor tagged his-once co-star Shilpa Shetty, the worst case of Botox, on a famous chat show. Following this, it was reported that Shilpa Shetty was unhappy about the fact that Anil Kapoor made a dig at her on national television. After that, the Kapoor's and the Shetty's avoided each other on many occasions but it seems that Sonam now wants to play a mediator between the two warring clans.

Recently, Anil Kapoor's daughter Sonam and Anil's co-star Shilpa, crossed paths at a famous hotel in Mumbai. Shilpa was accompanied by her hubby Raj Kundra, whereas Sonam had sis Rhea Kapoor and one more friend for company. When Sonam saw Shilpa & Raj, she went ahead and exchanged pleasantries and then the trio chatted for a long time. It looked like the animosity was gone and there was no awkwardness between the two.

Before this, just recently, Shilpa and Raj had sent a beautiful birthday cake to Sonam Kapoor and Shilpa had even tweeted her wishes for her. Replying to the lovely gesture, Sonam thanked the couple for her gift. Sonam went on to call Shilpa and Raj as the 'funnest' couple around. In turn, Shilpa called Sonam a fashion Diva. Looks like the dutiful daughter Sonam Kapoor, is trying to patch up Papa Anil Kapoor's faux pas with Shilpa Shetty and it seems that she's succeeding.
