Bollywood is going back to the retro style of filmmaking in every true sense these days.
While the commercial action films are back in fashion, giving the onscreen characters a larger than life image in the films too is catching up as a trend with filmmakers. And the latest in this list is director Milan Luthria.
The filmmaker who is currently working hard on his forthcoming directorial film 'Once Upon a Time in Mumbaai 2' (OUATIM 2) has come up with a creative idea to introduce Akshay's character in the film.
Akshay who plays Dawood Ibrahim will make a dashing entry in the scene of a cricket match between India and Pakistan at the Sharjah cricket stadium.
The scene will open with the two captains waiting for the toss to begin, and all eyes set on don Dawood's arrival; as it is he who will signal the match to begin.
Interestingly, Dawood has been seen attending many such matches at Sharjah in his early days. Most of his widely spread pictures are from such matches. So it only fits the bill perfectly for the reel don to imitate his real life inspiration.
