Farah Khan was gifted a black, top-class Mercedes SUV from her 'Happy New Year' star and close friend Shah Rukh Khan.

The director posted a picture with SRK and his gift on her microblogging page writing, "Look what I got!!!! Thaaaank u @iamsrk ... Touched n beyond.."

Apparently, Farah had crashed her old car about a month ago and was using SRK's Volkswagen to commute locally while hers was recuperating in the garage. SRK's generosity didn't stop there. Yesterday, he surprised her by presenting her with the SUV just when she was contemplating buying a new vehicle. She didn't have the time earlier, as she was shooting almost every day. 

Confirming the news Farah told a leading daily, "Shah Rukh called me at his office and said he wanted to show me something. He usually gifts me things when we wrap up a shoot but Happy New Year is far from over. We'll be shooting till June. So I did not seen this gift coming." 

In the past, SRK has gifted Farah two cars - one after they completed 'Main Hoon Na' and the other, after they wrapped up 'Om Shanti Om'.
