Shraddha Kapoor and Rajkummar Rao starrer 'Stree' is an upcoming horror comedy flick and the makers have revealed its teaser. What's more spine-chilling is as the teaser begins with saying "Based on a ridiculously true phenomenon" which makes us think twice. Is that so?

The teaser includes a midnight backdrop of a village and a female in a saree flying mid-air. At the end of the teaser there appears a scary red font saying, "Iss 31 August, Mard ko dard hoga"

Shraddha Kapoor tweeted the teaser of the film and captioned it, "31st August, raat ke andhere mein koi tumhe dhoondne aa raha hai. The film is a horror-comedy produced by Dinesh Vijan and Raj and DK. Speaking about the film, producer Dinesh Vijan earlier said, "I feel that she was itching to do a comedy for a while. And I feel her look and the way she is performing in this film is fantastic. I feel that with this film she will be remembered... I believed that she had this quirkiness which I feel has not been explored."

The story of Stree is said to be based on an urban real-life ghost incident that happened in Chanderi village in Bhopal. Helmed by Amar Kaushik and it releases on August 31.
