Swara Bhaskar has been expressing her political views quite loud as she recently tweeted about Kerela's MLA calling a Nun prostitute as he said 12 times it was her will and the 13th time it became a rape. She conveyed opinion with her tweet mentioning religious division, ''Absolutely shameful and disgusting!!!! Scum present across political spectrums and religious divides in India. Literally nauseating!''
To which filmmaker Vivek Agnihotri took a slyish dig and responded emphasizing on the "Me too movement". Swara Bhaskar called out the director for "using the trauma of women who are rape survivors to slut shame and abuse in public a woman you don't like".
She replied, "In the rare moments of sanity that may visit your brain - otherwise unhinged with hate - think about how low that is #scum," in her tweet continued.
The spat went to a whole new level when the actress reported about the filmmaker on Twitter and got him blocked straight away. The actress received a notification that reads, " We have reviewed the account you reported and have locked it because we found it to be in violation of the Twitter rules. If the account owner complies with our requested actions and stated policies, the account will be unlocked."
Swara also thanked Twitter and requested people not to allow bullies to shame them. The actress started being the part of the controversy since SLB's 'Padmaavat' as she wrote an open letter to the filmmaker.
