'Aksar' starring Emraan Hashmi and Udita Goswami in the lead was released in the year 2006 and revolved around a conspiracy. Now a sequel to the film is being made and will star Zareen Khan and Gautam Rode in the lead. The teaser of the film was released a day ago. Bollywood film critic Taran Adarsh shared the teaser on his Twitter handle by saying, "Teaser trailer of #Aksar2... Stars Zareen Khan, Gautam Rode... Ananth Mahadevan directs."

The teaser starts with a line 'How often do you see the trap?' The name of the film follows this question. No other information is mentioned in the teaser. The teaser promises that the film will follow the same path as of its first instalment.

It will be directed by Anant Mahadevan and the release date of the film is kept under wraps till date.
