(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Taylor Momsen has a persona she plays up to, according to her co-star.

The actress-and-singer is well known for her role as Jenny Humphrey in American drama Gossip Girl, which also stars Kelly Rutherford as Lily van der Woodsen.

Taylor also fronts rock band The Pretty Reckless, and has become renowned for her outspoken opinions and penchant for gothic clothing. Many think she seems older than her 17 years, and its something which plays on 42-year-old Kellys mind too.

I do worry about Taylor, but I also think shes smart and knows what shes doing. Like Lady Gaga has her persona, I am sure there is an element of persona to it with Taylor, she said.

Although Gossip Girl is fraught with sexual tension, Kelly insists the set isnt like that at all. The cast members all get along well and dont gossip about each other she had no idea co-stars Blake Lively and Penn Badgley had ended their romance until she read it in the newspaper.

Kelly knows it must be hard for the younger stars to be thrust into the limelight, but she tends to leave them to it. I dont dispense advice they dont ask me for it and I dont think its my place, she told Grazia. Lord knows, I havent got it all figured out myself yet either. (C) Cover Media
