Title Track of 'Mere Pyare Prime Minister' is here to win hearts!

The title track of 'Mere Pyare Prime Minister' released today and is already being loved by the listeners. The track is a soulful melody sung by Arijit Singh, penned by the legend Gulzar and composed by the mesmerizing Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy. The trio has created a perfect blend and this perfect combination is creating magic! It is about a little boy who along with his friends is trying to put his message across to the Prime Minister. The innocence of children is very well portrayed in the track and there is nothing sweeter than this that you'll hear today!

Kanu, the protagonist and his friends slip into various costumes of deities and play gimmicks on the people passing by to fetch money on the streets of Mumbai; to source money for their trip to Delhi. Their fight is against unhygienic conditions of the slums due to absence of toilets in their vicinity. Kanu dances with his mother, friends enjoys his life but somewhere in his conscious is hunting for a solution.

Mere Pyare Prime Minister is an endearing story of a young 8 year old boy named Kannu who lives with his single mother Sargam in a slum of Mumbai called Gandhi Nagar named after Mahatma Gandhi.

Music presented by Sony Music India, produced by Pen Movies and ROMP Pictures, directed by Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra, starring Anjali Patil, Om Kanojiya and Niteesh Wadhwa, the film is slated to release on the 15th Of March, 2019.
