Tom Felton reveals sleep-talk disappointment

9th June 2011

(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Tom Felton was disappointed to discover he doesn't talk in his sleep as he bought a special gadget to listen to his mutterings.

The actor portrays Draco Malfoy in the Harry Potter movies, the final instalment of which is out next month. Draco is a wizard, and while Tom can't do magic in real life he is partial to devices which promise to do interesting things. He was recently taken in by an application called Sleeptalk after becoming convinced he says profound things in his sleep.

"The idea is that you record yourself sleep-talking, then listen to the results in the morning," he explained. "But I never seem to bl***y talk! I thought I would rattle off some insightful genius statements in my sleep, but it turns out I just murmur and mumble. Very disappointing."

Tom is also a fan of digital music, and regularly downloads his favourite tracks. He doesn't like to admit to all the songs he owns though, as some are so embarrassing.

"Some of the tunes are for my lady, like Taylor Swift and there may be some Backstreet Boys on there too!" he laughed. (C) Cover Media
