Tori Spelling considers her recent pregnancy to be the "second biggest shock of her life."
The 38-year-old actress and her husband, Canadian actor Dean McDermott, announced at the end of last month that they are expecting their fourth child together.
Tori and Dean share a total of three small children together and welcomed their younger daughter Hattie into the family just five months ago.
Tori couldn't believe she was expecting again when she first learned of the new baby.
"I was shocked, obviously," Tori told People magazine.
"It was the second biggest shock of my life. The first was when they said [5-month-old] Hattie was a girl when she was born, because we thought she was going to be a boy. And the second was that I was pregnant after my newborn had just turned one-month-old. We were shocked."
Despite the initial surprise, Tori has adapted well to her condition.
The star has spoken previously about how she is feeling physically.
"This is actually the best pregnancy I've had so far out of all of them," Tori told the publication in March. "Knock on wood. [I have] no morning sickness and I have energy. [It's the] total opposite than other three."
Tori and Dean have been married for nearly six years and have three children together; Liam, five, Stella, three, and five-month-old Hattie.
