(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Tori Spelling has given birth to a son.

The star and her husband Dean McDermott welcomed their fourth child together into the world yesterday. Tori confirmed the news on her website, where she also revealed the tot's name.

"We are so excited to announce the birth of the newest member of the McDermott family!" she wrote. "Please join us in welcoming Finn Davey McDermott."

The new arrival made his entrance at 5.39pm and weighed in at 6lbs. 6oz. He is 20 inches long.

Tori also posted the news on her Twitter website, where she linked to a picture of her baby's hand clutching someone's finger.

The 39-year-old star confirmed she was expecting a baby in March, just five months after the couple welcomed their daughter Hattie into the world. They also have Liam, five, and four-year-old Stella together.

Tori recently hinted this will be her last baby, an idea which makes her "sad".

"I couldn't be happier that I'm finally at the end and I get to meet the baby so soon, but I actually love being pregnant, so if it is my last, I'll be sad never to be pregnant again," she said. (C) Cover Media
