(Cover) - EN Showbiz - John Travolta and Kelly Preston are ecstatic following the birth of their son.

The Hollywood couple welcomed baby Benjamin into the world last night after Kelly gave birth in a Florida hospital. The little boy is John and Kellys third child together. Newborn Benjamin weighs 8lbs. 3ozs and is said to be in good health, as is Kelly.

"John, Kelly and their daughter Ella Bleu are ecstatic and very happy about the newest member of the family," Johns representative said in a statement. "Both mother and baby are healthy and doing beautifully."

John and Kelly have been married since 1991 and are considered one of Hollywoods strongest couples. They had been trying for another baby for a long time before Kelly fell pregnant with Benjamin.

"We tried for several years, and we didn't think it was going to happen for us. This is a miracle, and we feel blessed, beamed the pair earlier this year when they announced the pregnancy.

The couple also have a ten-year-old daughter called Ella Bleu. In January 2009 their eldest child, Jett who suffered from autism died at the age of 16 following a seizure on a family trip to the Bahamas. (C) Cover Media
