The Tamil film 'Kavalan' is the remake of the Malayalam film 'Body Guard'. Nayanthara did the female lead role in 'Body Guard' while Asin did the female lead role in 'Kavalan'. Now this film is being remade in Telugu. Venkatesh and Trisha are in the lead roles. Trisha while speaking about this film said, "'Body Guard' is a wonderful emotional, romantic film. I like my role very much. I am acting with lots of dedication. The first schedule shooting of this film is over. The college scenes have been completed. I havecome to Chennai since there is no shooting for ten days. Nayanthara and Asin have acted in this film in Malayalam and Tamil respectively. I cannot say whose acting is better. Both of them are good actresses but I will not ape them. I will show my individuality in the Telugu 'Body Guard'. Prakash Raj is donning my father's role. The next schedule of shooting is to take place in Vizag and Hyderabad. I have handful of films. I am not giving my call sheet for new films. There are five days shooting for me in 'Mankatha'. The shooting is almost complete."
