(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Uma Thurman has given birth to a baby girl.

The Hollywood actress and her partner Arpad Busson welcomed their new arrival on Sunday, a source has confirmed to Us Weekly.

However, no other information about the birth has been divulged.

Uma and Arpad confirmed they were to become parents earlier this year, with a friend revealing how thrilled the couple were.

"She's happy and just a few months along right now," the insider said in March. "She's due in late summer."

Uma has children Maya, 14, and ten-year-old Levon with her ex-husband Ethan Hawke.

Rumours began circulating about the star's pregnancy when she stepped out at New York Fashion Week earlier this year. She was spotted in the front row of the Tommy Hilfiger runway show on February 12 and was unusually covered up in a baggy shirt and a loose fitting jacket.

Uma, 42, and Arpad have been together since 2007, although they briefly split in 2009. (C) Cover Media
