At a time when expectations are riding high on Venkatesh's "Bodyguard" and the actor is set to start shooting for "Seethamma Vaakitlo Sirumalle Chettu", he has another project too in the pipeline.
According to sources, a Telugu film is to be made on Swami Vivekanda and it is Venkatesh who is expected to play the lead role. 'Venkatesh is thrilled about playing the role of Swami Vivekananda,' sources say.
Since the actor would be busy with his other prior commitments for the next few months, the shooting for the film on Swami Vivekananda is likely to commence in September. It will be directed by Mani Shankar.
It is to be noted that actors are evincing interest in doing period and epic movies. While Balakrishna did "Sri Rama Rajyam", Nagarjuna did "Rajanna" and is ready to do the lead role in a movie in Sri Shirdi Sai Baba. Now it is the turn of Venkatesh.
