Vicky Kaushal will be soon seen in a love triangle romancing Bhumi Pednekar. The movie also stars Ayushmann Khurrana. While the movie is still to go on floors Vicky was keen to visit the location before he starts the workshop next week for the movie.

It is said that after Vicky signed on the dotted line he made a quick visit to Punjab, where most of the film will be shot. Interestingly, he himself hails from Punjab and hence the actor wanted to discover a connect.

Quoting on the same the young actor says,"Even though I'm a Punjabi, I know that visiting the location will help me gauge the space of my character in its raw, unadulterated and most authentic form. I would want to be as honest to my character as possible. In whatever little time I've spent doing this, I've realized that the conviction to portray a certain character has to come from within. for that to happen, I need to know the space. The 'sense of belonging' is essential. Also, my family hails from Hoshiapur in Punjab. Any excuse for 'pind ka khaana'.. . Cannot wait the shoot to start!"
