(Cover) - EN Fashion - David and Victoria Beckhams son is set to design his own range of sunglasses.

Soccer star David and singer-turned-designer Victoria have three kids, Brooklyn, 11, Romeo, eight, and five-year-old Cruz.

It is now thought Romeo will follow in his mothers footsteps into the world of fashion, with his first commercial deal to design a sunglasses collection for children.

"Romeo has a real eye for fashion. He has strong opinions on what works and what doesn't, and has been badgering David and Victoria for months about designing his own sunglasses, a source told British newspaper The Daily Mirror.

Echoing his parents range of shades, which are called dVb, Romeos collection is believed to be taking the name RB.

It is thought Victoria was initially unsure about whether her son should proceed in the venture, but once she saw Romeo was serious about the project she offered her support.

"It is no passing whim - Victoria said she'd only back the project if he was certain he wanted to do it. There is a gap in the market for designer kids' shades that are 100% UV protected and trendy, added the insider.

Little has been revealed about the style of the shades, although it is expected the glasses will have a trendy RB motif one arm. (C) Cover Media
