Shoojit Sircar's biggest gamble of his career would be casting Varun Dhawan for his kind of film, which requires the actor to slip into intense character and make it convincing for the audience on screen.

Following a beautiful short teaser of 'October' here comes the first poster of the film featuring the lead Varun dreamily staring at the sky lying on lush green grass. Varun sports wispy hair and thick beard which adds yet another shade to his onscreen character.

Varun Dhawan shared the poster on his twitter account, "#OctoberFirstLook. October will live with you forever.@ShoojitSircar @ronnielahiri @writeonj @BanitaSandhu."

Whereas Shoojit described the first look poster in a very abstract manner, he wrote, "Watching nature is my meditation:) #OctoberFirstLook."

While the trailer is just three days away from its releases i.e. March 12, we are already in guessing mood as to what will Shoojit Sircar have for the audience this time.
