Bollywood filmmaker Abhishek Kapoor of the 'Rock On!!' fame is all set with his next directorial film 'Kai Po Che' that is set in the backdrop of Ahmedabad.

The film which has three friends playing the main leads, according to the filmmaker is a film about friendship and their dreams.

Screen adaptation of Chetan Bhagat's third novel 'The 3 Mistakes of My Life', the film has been partially penned by the writer himself.

Talking about the theme of the film, Abhishek recently stated that it is all about the emotional and career highs and lows of the three friends.

"This film is about friendship and the characters in this film are as relatable as they could be. It is about three middle class youngsters and their friendship and their desires to be successful on both personal and professional level," said Abhishek. 

He states that when Chetan first offered him to make a film on his book, he was amazed by the fact that how deeply the book replicated the real India.
