In recent times, Kollywood has been churning out many crime-thrillers and that is more than evident with Jeeva's 'Vandhan Vendran' amongst other films.

The latest film in this genre is 'Pazhaya Vannarpettai'. The film is produced by Prakash of PR Entertainment and is directed by Mohan G. Farook, a newcomer has started working on the tunes and Suraj Kavi handles the editing. The film has Prajin playing the lead role and the entire shooting will be held in the backdrop of Chennai. With the music composition in progress, the producers have decided to kick-start the shooting by first week of May.
