It came as a surprise for director Subhash Kapoor when he learnt that Akshay Kumar has not visited the divine city of Banaras. The occasion was shooting of a scene from his upcoming film 'Jolly LL.B 2' when for the very first time in his 25 years of filmy career, Akshay got a chance to visit the city. Akshay express his excitement by saying that it is a very lucky day today, I am in Banaras for the very first time and the experience is splendid.

The cast and crew of the film visited the city to shoot a scene where Jolly is seen taking a dip into the holy Ganga river. Director reveals the deets of the scene by saying, they had actually arranged for a body double to shoot the swimming sequence, but Akshay insisted to shoot the scene himself. As they shot after monsoon, river Ganga was overflowing, but when the scene was shot, Akshay came out to be a much better swimmer than the locales. He is also seen enjoying a kite-flying session on the banks of the river. Overall it was a sacred experience for Akshay Kumar and he thoroughly enjoyed it.

'Jolly LL.B 2' is set for a release on February 10, 2017.
