(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Reese Witherspoon is reportedly concerned with keeping friend Robert Pattinson "away from the prying eyes of the paparazzi."

The actress was dismayed to find that her ex-husband Ryan Phillippe cheated on her years ago. The adultery was highly publicised and Reese found herself in the midst of the furore.

Robert's girlfriend Kristen Stewart recently publicly apologised for cheating on her beau with Rupert Sanders.

Now Robert is said to be staying at Reese's vacation home and the actress is happy to support her friend during this difficult time.

"She's not trying to lead Rob one way or the other regarding his future with Kristen," a source told Radar Online.

"Reese and her husband [Jim Toth] are just giving Rob the space he needs and a place to stay that's far away from the prying eyes of the paparazzi.

"Reese went through a very public cheating scandal herself when Ryan Phillippe went outside their marriage and hooked up with Abbie Cornish, so her first thought when she heard about Kristen and Rob was to reach out to him and make sure he was okay.
