(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Zac Efron has reportedly split from Mirror Mirror actress Lily Collins.

The young Hollywood couple apparently dated for three months but have decided to call it quits.

Us Weekly claims that their busy careers were the root of the problem.

"They're no longer together," an insider told the publication. "They were never serious though. It was just a casual thing and it fizzled. They were never in the same place at the same time."

A second source added: "Zac was never very serious about her. He didn't talk about her to friends."

The twosome were first seen holding hands at a friend's birthday party in Los Angeles back in February and were only photographed together once.

"It's true that their schedules are crazy right now, which isn't conducive to a relationship being easy," a friend said.

Zac was previously in a long-term relationship with his High School Musical co-star Vanessa Hudgens which ended two years ago. Lily had a short fling with her Abduction co-star Taylor Lautner which fizzled out in September last year. (C) Cover Media
