Irrfan Khan, who was last seen in Nishikant Kamat directed thriller film 'Madaari' is felicitated with the Entertainer of the Year award. The actor who has proved his acting in films like 'Paan Singh Tomar', 'Piku', 'Jazbaa' and many other films have even been recognised in the west. Finance minister Arun Jaitley presented the award to Irrfan.
Irrfan shared the news by releasing a statement where he said, "I am honoured to be felicitated. For me, the last two years have been a tremendous journey (of) breaking and redefining entertainment. I am touched that a gamut of roles of different genres has been appreciated and loved by the audience equally."
On the work front, Irrfan will be next seen in a Hollywood mystery thriller 'Inferno' which also stars Tom Hanks.
