Madonna: Super Bowl means so much

3rd February 2012

Madonna feels pressure to "put on a good show" this Super Bowl.

The superstar will take to the stage at the iconic American football game at halftime this weekend.

Madonna has intense butterflies in her stomach about this performance, as millions of people will be watching her.

"I'm so nervous!" she told Extra. "It's like the Super Bowl is like, God in America. It's like the whole country is watching this game. It's everything and it means so much to people. Then I come on at halftime... I'd better put on a damn good show, right?"

Madonna has reportedly been prepping hard for this performance, putting in up to 12 hour rehearsal days at the studio.

Although Madonna won't reveal what she's planning to do onstage, the star guarantees that audiences will be entertained.

"I'm not telling you [what I'm doing]," Madonna said. "I'm gonna do a new song from my record, then do some oldies but goodies, so stay tuned."

Give Me All Your Luvin' is the first track from Madonna's upcoming album M.D.N.A. and the whole promo will be released today.

Nicki Minaj and M.I.A. will join Madonna during the halftime show.

Super Bowl XLVI airs this Sunday.
