The makers of J.P. Dutta's multi-starrer film 'Paltan' dropped a new song from the film titled 'Raat Kitni'. Beginning with the jawans nearby campfire it is Sonu Sood who urges everyone to remember their loved ones .

The video begins with Arjun Rampal asking his army mate Sonu Sood ''Kya kar rahe hai aap'' to which he replies ''Subha ki tension mein aur aag ki roshini mein apno ko dekh rahe hai'.' Every Jawaan is recollecting the memories of their loved ones and this slow time becomes hard to pass by.

Sonu Nigam's appealing voice has stuck the right emotional chord and we do feel the empathy of our Jawaan's far away from home battling their lives for their motherland India. Click here to watch 'Raat Kitni' official music video. 

The lyrics of the song are penned by Javed Akhtar and Anu Malik's composition is more than perfect. Moreover, 'Paltan' is the third offering in Dutta's war trilogy, after 'Border' and 'LOC Kargil'. Also starring Jackie Shroff, the film revolves around the Nathu La and Cho La clashes along the Sikkim border that took place in 1967, after the India-China War of 1962. It portrays a lesser known story of the Indian forces in an intense battle to ward off a Chinese infiltration.

'Paltan' stars Arjun Rampal, Gurmeet Choudhary, Sonu Sood, Harshvardhan Rane, Luv Sinha, Esha Gupta, Sonal Chauhan, Dipika Kakar and Monica Gill in a major role. This war-drama is slated to release on September 7.
