Veteran Bollywood actor Om Puri, who is known for his remarkable contribution in the Indian Cinema has passed away at the age of 66 on Friday morning. He suffered a massive heart attack and is survived by wife Nandita Puri and son Ishaan Puri.

His close friend Ashoke Pandit confirmed the news on his Twitter handle by tweeting, "Sad & shocked to know that versatile actor Om Puri jee has expired due to heart attack early morning today. #RIP."
