Gali Guleiyan trailer: An intriguing psychological thriller about a haunting past

The makers of 'Gali Guleiyan' who officially participated in many of the international short film festivals as 'In the Shadows' and received critical acclaim for Manoj Bajpayee's acting are now finally getting a release.

Makers even dropped its official trailer and the film is now titled 'Gali Guleiyan' and by the glimpse of it we could make out that it is a psychological thriller. The trailer begins showcasing a tensed Manoj Bajpayee worried about a minor getting beaten by his cruel father played by Neeraj Kabi. Residing in old Delhi, chasing the voices from his head. Ranvir Shorey plays his advisor friend who warns him to walk out of this nuances but Manoj is stuck with these memories from the past. Click here to watch the official trailer.

Bajpayee has won the best actor award in the Indian Film Festival of Melbourne (IFFM) 2018 and the New York International Film Festival (NYIFF). Speaking about his character Manoj Bajpayee earlier specified that his role in Gali Guleiyan is the toughest ever he had done in his entire career. The trapped mind of the protagonist is going in several directions at a time. It was a very crucial role that tested his skills, craft and everything learned over the years. It was not an easy character. It took a toll on him.

Helmed by Dipesh Jain and bankrolled by Shuchi Jain Gali Guleiyan is slated to be released on 7th September 2018.
