Aanand L Rai's upcoming film was very much in the news as actor R. Madhavan and Saif Ali Khan were about to reunite after 17 long years. However, Madhavan opted out from the film following his surgery and health reasons. Interestingly, Saif's on-screen character was under wraps but sources gave us a glimpse of the character the Nawaab is going to essay in this film. This time Saif will play a vengeful Pathan seeking to harm someone in return. The actor is already training hard to get under the skin of the character. Saif started horse riding, sword-fighting and learning to grasp the Pathani dialect.

The 'Kaalakaandi' actor will begin shooting for the film in Devgarh, Rajasthan. Devgarh historic prime locations famous for its grand forts. The team will be shooting in some popular locations like the sanctuary of Kali Ghati, bridges and tunnels of the Kunjbihari Mandir. This temple is also said to be famous for the number of bats that live inside the roof of the said structure.

Helmed by Navdeep Singh, the untitled movie also stars 'Mukkabaaz' actress Zoya Hussain. Whereas Sonakshi Sinha will be seen doing a small yet important cameo in the film.
