(Cover) - EN Star Style - Sarah Harding has realised most people prefer her with blonde locks.

The stunning singer shot to fame as one fifth of pop group Girls Aloud, and has since gone on to become a successful actress, appearing in movies such as St. Trinian's and its sequel St. Trinian's II: The Legend of Fritton's Gold.

The gorgeous 29-year-old is famed for her edgy look and platinum blonde locks but earlier this year she dyed her light tresses to a deep brunette shade, and she says the reception hasn't been completely positive.

"It's OK, I think the general consensus is that I'm a preferred blonde, people know me for being blonde and I am slowly going back that way," she said on a British television show.

Sarah says the change of hair colour was down to style boredom. The songstress wanted to overhaul her locks and the most dramatic change she could make was to dye her hair.

"I just wanted a change, I really did and I had tried every other look there is to do with my blonde hair so I just wanted to shake things up a bit," she added. (C) Cover Media
