Recently the world celebrated the festival of colours Holi and even Bollywood celebs enjoyed it to the core. While some shared pictures and videos of their celebrations, Anushka Sharma on the other hand shared a social message regarding the festival when animals are being involved in the celebrations. She took help of her promotional campaign #Shashiwasthere to create awareness about not harming the animals during such festivals.

She shared a picture on her Instagram which showed a dog fully covered with colours, while a furious Shashi is watching by. She captioned the picture as, "#ShashiWasThere jab ispe rang daala gaya. Jaanwaron ko rang pasand nahi. Insaan sirf insaano ke saath Holi khelein pls! Happy & safe Holi. 😊🙏."

A pet lover herself, Anushka's noble deed and this message is appreciated by all. On the work front she will be next seen in her home production film 'Phillauri' which releases on March 24, 2017.
