Kapil Sharma meets former PM, thanks him for kind gesture

Lines are blurring between the entertainment and political world. Recently, Comedian-actor-producer Kapil Sharma known for his sense of humour ended up having a funny banter with current Prime Minister Narendra Modi at the inauguration of the National Museum of Cinema. Kapil thanking the PM wrote, "Respected pm Sh @narendramodi ji,it was nice meeting u n great knowing ur inspiring ideas and progressive views about our film industry and our nation. N sir I must say u have a great sense of humor too! regards."

To which PM replied, "When @KapilSharmaK9 appreciates somebody's humour, it sure makes that person happy and I am no exception. :)Thank you for the kind words Kapil."

On Tuesday, Kapil tweeted a picture with the former Prime Minister Manmohan Singh and his wife Gursharan Kaur. The two conversed over several aspects from sharing the same roots to college to food. Sharing the picture on his Twitter handle, he wrote, "Thank you respected Manmohan Singhji for the warmth, hospitality and a heart-to-heart conversation about our Amritsari roots, especially about our college and food. Was an honour meeting such a humble and simple statesman like you, and receiving blessings from ma'am."

Pictures shared by the actor had him in conversation and posing for camera with the PM at his residence. 

The actor was in Delhi for his wedding reception hosted for politicians and bureaurcrats, that's when he made a quick visit to the honourable former PM of India. Post a year's sabbatical Kapil returned with a bang on television platform with his popular TV show 'The Kapil Sharma Show', co-produced by Salman Khan along with him.
