The makers of Remo D'Souza directorial 'Nawabzaade' have left us the first song from the film and it's not new at all. A reprised version of Guru Randhawa's 'High Rated Gabru' a T-series single that turned out to be a huge hit.
The song features Varun Dhawan and Shraddha Kapoor grooving on this energetic dance number that features in their upcoming film a romantic comedy titled 'Nawabzaade'. The song has a great peppy vibe and sounds like a groovy party number for sure. It was already released in 2017. Before this Randhawa's 'Patola' was picked in the Irrfan Khan starrer 'Blackmail'. Looks like he is setting a trend of singles being picked for movies. Click here to watch Varun Dhawan and Shraddha Kapoor's 'High Rated Gabru'.
Speaking about his songs being a clear pick in the Bollywood films, Guru Randhawa said, "Actually, it's the beauty of independent music that the artist can feature in his own videos and be the face of it. It is unlike Bollywood movies, where one does playback singing. I have always been trying to make music which appeals to global audience. Also, when my music started getting picked for Bollywood movies, it made my Independent music and approach bigger."
Bankrolled by Remo D'Souza Entertainment, 'Nawabzaade' features Raghav Juyal, Punit Pathak and Dharmesh Yelande, with special appearances from 'ABCD 2' members Dhawan and Kapoor.
